Family Ministries

Your family is important to us at newhope, whether you are just beginning your marriage as newlyweds, expecting a child by birth or adoption, struggling with separation or possible divorce, blending two families, transitioning through the teenage and college years, in the midst of empty nest years, or celebrating many years of marriage! Our goal is to partner with you and equip you to experience community and fellowship and continue to grow in your faith throughout the stages of “family.”

Marriage

It Takes Two is newhope's marriage ministry led by Mike and Fran Helpingstine. The ministry objective is facilitating the development, maintenance, and repair of marriages within the newhope Church family.  We offer Premarital Counseling, Marriage Education, and Marriage Mentoring.  For more information please contact Fran Helpingstine.

Parenting

For those anticipating the birth or arrival of a child in the near future, our Great Expectations program allows new parents to be given a mentor for encouragement, as well as welcome baby gifts and tours of downtown infant nursery. Parenting seminars and workshops are offered periodically, as well as opportunities for single parents to connect and get encouragement.

Crisis

Whether your family has a special needs child, has lost a child, is going through divorce, or other crisis points, we want to provide support including Beau’s Ministry for special needs children, and other ministries and small groups.

Divorce Care/ Divorce Care for Kids

Tuesdays 7pm - 9pm beginning February 28th.

Fees:

Adults (including workbooks) $20

Childcare/Divorce Care for Kids $15/child with a maximum of $30/family
