The Marriage Ministries of newhope church bring you this special opportunity to focus on the importance of taking time to DATE your spouse!
This is a 4-month challenge beginning in February! We are challenging every married couple at newhope to date your spouse once a month for the next four months using the provided dates! They are fun, create GREAT conversation, and just get you out of doing the same old thing!

It Takes Two- newhope's marriage ministry led by Mike and Fran Helpingstine. The ministry objective is facilitating the development, maintenance, and repair of marriages within the newhope church family.
Premarital Counseling - for engaged couples that Pastor Benji has agreed to marry. Couples are enrolled in the mentoring program upon completing the official Wedding Policy paperwork, will be required to attend 3-4 meetings and complete homework assignments prior to getting married. A follow-up meeting will be scheduled for 10 months after the wedding.
Marriage Education - This is a large format Christian marriage study which meets weekly or bi-weekly. The large format is comprised of multiple small groups which come together for the larger meeting. The program will involve a group-wide teaching component that is typically followed by breakout sessions for going deeper in the small groups. There are two semesters, one typically running in the fall, and the other running in the spring. There will be a nominal fee for each session to cover the cost of facilities, materials, and refreshments.
Marriage Mentoring - For married newhope couples in crisis. Christian-based support, guidance, and prayer are provided to help restore relationships and repair families.
