Special Needs Children
All children are welcome at newhope church! We believe that all children are created in God's image and that every child has value to God - and us! We welcome all children into hopetown so they may grow in an understanding of their value to God in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
For children who have special needs that are minimal and can enjoy the large group activities for each age level, we have a Buddy Ministry for children who benefit from some assistance to enable them to learn about God's love and grow in faith. The goal is to provide individualized, flexible, and caring assistance during hopetown activities. We are also excited to have the Beau's Ministry Room during the 12:00pm worship service as a specially designed space for children who need individualized attention and space that is quiet with trained volunteers who develop a plan to ensure parents are confident their child is receiving excellent care while they worship.
We ask that your family please fill out a Beau's Ministry Special Needs Registration form at least 2 business days prior to the first Sunday you plan to visit to help us ensure your child has an appropriate buddy either in a hopetown room or in the Beau's Ministry room and that all of their needs will be fully met by a hopetown staff member or medically trained volunteer .
Friday Night Friends offering Free Respite Care:
We know that many families of children with special needs have unique challenges in finding babysitters or finding individualized care for evenings off. To help with this, we are excited to offer Friday Night Friends. Early 2012 we will have three offerings of our Friday Night Friends program, providing an evening of free childcare for families of children with special needs (including siblings). Family Registration for these programs may be completed here: register. NOTE: Registration for January 6th program has closed, but March 2nd and May 4th still have openings.

Beau's Story
"With Man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible"
(Mathew 10:25)
We dedicate this ministry to honor and remember our courageous, strong, beautiful son named Beau. Born August 6, 2007 Beau was diagnosed with a rare syndrome called Digeorge. His biggest obstacle from birth was his heart that warranted 3 major surgeries. After his second heart surgery Beau suffered a negligent loss to his gut. Nine surgeries later Beau fought harder than any Docs had ever seen and he came home to us. We were so fortunate to enjoy 6 heavenly months at home with our incredible son - an angel too beautiful for Earth. Beau touched so many lives during his short 16 months of life with his courage and gracefullness. His beautiful, soulful eyes drew everyone instantly to know God's pure love. To be in his presence was nothing short of a miraculous gift to learn how to love and forgive unconditionally. We want to share this precious gift that Beau taught us through this ministry and we truly hope that it will touch many families with special children like Beau.
