Six years ago, I received a mailer to come out and visit newhope church. The information on the mailer was interesting so I decided to call to inquire about children’s ministry. When the pastor answered the phone and told me how great the church was and how his wife was the children’s pastor, I knew I had to go and check this place out. I had attended many churches in the past and rarely did I ever even have a chance to speak with the pastor or his wife, and this was a church where the pastor would dare answer his own phone! This was unheard of, crazy, different, and it was well needed. newhope is a new kind of church. One that is engaging, interesting, relevant, and most importantly genuinely crazy about God’s grace and the love of Jesus Christ! These six years have been amazing for both me in my relationship with Christ, and my children’s introduction to Him. The Children’s Ministry is awesome! newhope reached me through a mailer, has taught me through relevant sermons and uplifting worship, and has released me to help lead children to Christ. I am forever grateful!
