Who We Are

More than anything, newhope church is what Pastor Benji calls, “A GOD THING!” No doubt, that really is the best way to describe what has happened in the last nine years!

In nine short years, this church has gone from consisting of Pastor Benji, Amy Lynn, and their three children, to a movement that is sweeping across central North Carolina and beyond! In the church’s short time of existence, newhope has grown to a community of faith well over 2,000 people who regularly attend one of three Worship Celebrations at the Central Campus (8:15 am, 10:10 am and 12:00 pm) each Sunday, or one of the two Worship Celebrations at the Garner Campus (9:00 am and 10:45 am).  In addition to these two campuses, we offer an Internet Campus that plays the entire Worship Celebration at 8:00 pm on Sunday evenings. Most recently newhope church was identified and named one of the top 10 fastest growing churches in America. It was also ranked first among the “Top 10 Greatest Percentage Gains” of people attending churches in all denominations across America! newhope is well known for its relevant biblical teaching, upbeat and contemporary worship, missional outreach, life group gatherings in homes, excellent children’s programs, and high impact student ministries!
