Church Planting Team
From day one, we have been passionate and actively engaged in church planting. Just one year into newhope church's existence, we were finacially and prayerfully supporting three different church plants throughout the United States and a newhope church in Sri Lanka.
In the last eight years, we have sponsored/supported eight different church plants! Here are three of the most recent:
- Vintage Church, Greensboro, NC - Pastor Matt Smith
- Love Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC - Pastor Matt LeRoy
- Crosswinds, Wilmington, NC - Pastor Chris Vernon
Looking ahead, we will continue to find top shelf leaders/church planters who have the call of God upon their lives and we will get behind them with prayer and finances.
Moreover, we are currently praying through the possibility of planting our fourth multi-site location. Studies have shown time and time again that the most effective means of reaching people for Christ is through brand-new churches. As such, we envision continuing to Reach, Teach, and Release fully devoted followers through fresh church plants to the glory and honor of Jesus Christ!
