Worship Arts

A community of artists who, together, unleash the arts to create environments where people can experience God in profound ways.

Art, the product or process of deliberately arranging items in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, photography, sculpture, and paintings.

At newhope church, we believe that God is the Audience of our Worship Arts. We also believe that art plays a deeply valuable role in the lives of believers at newhope. Our Worship Arts Team is passionate about delivering the truth of Christ through as many diverse artistic mediums as possible.

Get Involved!

Below you will find the many areas of our Worship Arts Ministry that are available for you to get involved with.

Celebration Choir: Love to sing? Join this team of folks that come together to sing, praise and lift up the name of Jesus! 

Connections Team: A team of folks who help connect, assimilate, and get new volunteers plugged into our growing ministry. 

Set Design/Creative Team:
 A team of folks who help create, design, manufacture and implement cool new stage designs.

Graphics Design/Media Production:
 Create stunning and relevant images and videos used for Sermon Series, TV, Video and much more!

Stage Managers:
 The "Detail Police". These folks our responsible for managing all of the many elements of our Worship Celebrations. (ie: props, band, vocalists, stage)

Technicians: 
Sound, Lighting and Video Screen Media and Camera Production for Worship Celebrations.

Holy Communion:
 Purchasing supplies, preparation and serving of Holy Communion.

Audition Based Areas

Band:
 Musicians in Worship Celebrations.

Vocalists:
 Singers in Worship Celebrations.

Fine Arts:
 Actors, performers, dancers, spoken word artists, painters.
