!mpact (6-8th grade) meets during our first service at 8:15 am in Durham and 9:00 am in Garner.
Pulse (9-12th grade) meets during our second service at 10:10 am and our first service at 9:00 am in Garner.
Both ministries meet upstairs in our Student Ministries Center in Durham and out in the modular buiding Student Center in Garner. When you arrive, be sure to come to the Check-in booth where you will fill out a student info card. You only need to fill in the blanks that you’re comfortable sharing. Don’t worry…we won’t hound you, or bombard your inbox. You can expect a postcard after your first time, and information pertaining to any events we have going on. But nothing too crazy!
The First Contact Team (Students and Leaders in black shirts) will let you know what to expect for the morning and they will be able to answer all of your questions or direct you to someone who can.
At !mpact and Pulse, we’ve created a large group environment that attracts students just like you. After all, we figure you want to be where your friends are! We make this time as exciting and relevant as we possibly can!
We go one step further and do two things that we believe are incredibly important for you: we pay attention to what’s going on in your life, and we care about you.
This happens in our small group environment, where each week you leave the large group and spend time in a more intimate setting—processing, thinking, talking and praying about what’s going on in your world. It’s a chance to meet people that live through the same things that you do.
Honestly, it’s all really simple—large group to small group. The goal is for you to leave feeling energized to go out there and take on another week!
