Special Needs Ministry

Your children are welcome at newhope church!

We believe that all children are created in God's image and that every child has value to God - and us! We welcome all children into hopetown so they may grow in an understanding of their value to God in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

For children who have special needs that are minimal and can enjoy the large group activities for each age level, we have a Buddy Ministry for children who benefit from some assistance to enable them to learn about God's love and grow in faith. The goal is to provide individualized, flexible, and caring assistance during hopetown activities.

As we open our new facility on March 15th, 2009, we are excited to be launching Beau's Ministry with a specially designed space for children who need individualized attention and space that is quiet with trained volunteers who develop a plan to ensure parents are confident their child is receiving excellent care while they worship.

We ask that you indicate on your child's registration form that he/she would benefit from having a buddy and we will match your child with a "buddy" or if they would best benefit from being a part of Beau's Ministry. Click here to read Beau's story.

We also know that many families of children with special needs have unique challenges ranging from babysitter needs to fellowship opportunities. This is also a part of our developing ministry as we plan to offer a variety of opportunities for support and networking - please contact us for more information.
