1. What ages does hopetown serve?
A: hopetown children's ministry is designed for children birth through 5th grade and has age-appropriate environments for each of the different age groups.

2. What do you teach the children?
A: hopetown teaches basic Biblical truths in exciting environments. We use relevant curriculum; My First Look for midtown children and 252 Basics for uptown children. We do creative theme-based series during the summer months and also provide more in-depth original curriculums for our xcel small groups for 4th/5th graders.

3. Will my child be safe?
A: hopetown children's ministry has many security precautions in place to ensure the safety of your child. We use a computerized check-in system that prints name tags for your children including allergy information and a matching parent pick-up tag. This pick-up tag must be presented for your child to be released. All external doors are secure to hopetown, and the entrance to hopetown is locked during worship services. All children's ministry staff and volunteers are required to complete a reference and criminal background check as well as an orientation before having contact
with children and all team members work together to ensure your child has a safe and fun environment.

4. Can I bring my baby into the service?
A: We hope you will feel comfortable choosing to have your child participate in hopetown children's ministry, so your child(ren) experience age-appropriate environments and enjoy their time worshipping and hands-on activities that make church fun and engaging. However, if you would like to experience the worship service with your child, we have three environments for this to happen; a nursing mother's area in the downstairs women's restroom, the rotunda cafe' area, and a seating and play area in the hopetown hallway. Each of these environments allows parents to view the service with live video and audio with their child.

5. Is my kid too sick for church?
A: To ensure the health of all the children and volunteers in hopetown, parents are asked not to bring children, who have, or have had any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:

Fever, colored nasal discharge, conjunctivitis ("pink eye"), eye or ear discharge, vomiting or diarrhea, skin infections, chronic cough or sore throat, cold sores around the mouth, impetigo, active chicken pox or chicken pox vaccine within 3 days, or any acute infectious disease.
